कुटुंबसंस्था टिकविण्यामध्ये आईची भूमिका महत्त्वाची : राज्यपाल भगत सिंह कोश्यारी

मुंबई, दि. 30 : कुटुंबसंस्था टिकविण्यासाठी तसेच मुलांमध्ये संस्कार व मूल्ये रुजविण्यासाठी आईची भूमिका महत्त्वपूर्ण असल्याचे उद्गार राज्यपाल भगत सिंह कोश्यारी यांनी आज येथे काढले. भारतीय संस्कृतीमध्ये आईला सर्वोच्च स्थान दिले आहे. शांतीपूर्ण समाज निर्मितीसाठी कुटुंब आनंदी असणे गरजेचे आहे, असेही त्यांनी सांगितले. 

श्रीमती नाथीबाई दामोदर ठाकरसी महिला विद्यापीठातर्फे आयोजित आंतरराष्ट्रीय मातृ परिषदेच्या सांगता समारोहाला उपस्थित राहण्यासाठी मुंबई भेटीवर आलेल्या महिला प्रतिनिधींनी राज्यपालांची राजभवन येथे भेट घेतली त्यावेळी ते बोलत होते.

एसएनडीटी महिला विद्यापीठाच्या कुलगुरू शशिकला वंजारी यांसह बल्गारीया, जॉर्जिया, जर्मनी, इराण, कझाकस्थान, नेपाल व उझबेकिस्तान या देशांसह भारतातील महिला प्रतिनिधी यावेळी उपस्थित होत्या.

Role of Mother crucial in keeping family together: Governor

The Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari today said that the role of mother is most critical in keeping the institution of family intact and in imparting moral and ethical values to children.  Stating that Indian culture has given higest importance to mother, he said, a happy family is a prerequisite for a peaceful society.

The Governor was interacting with a group of women delegates from various countries at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Saturday (30th Nov).

The women delegates were in Mumbai to attend the valedictory session of the Conference on Global Mothers hosted by SNDT Women’s University.

Vice Chancellor of SNDT Women’s University Dr Shashikala Wanjari, delegates from Bulgaria, Georgia, Germany, Iran, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Uzbekistan and India were present.
